I needed a new keycap set for my board, since the supplied cheap oems are not my cup of tea. These are a smooth grit similar to enjoypbt cherry caps, and they also work with north facing LEDs unlike cherry caps. One thing you'll notice between less gritty pbt is the edges are not as sharp, doesn't feel as bad when your finger inevitably slides along one. They look good, but maybe a bit too busy. The font is not as thick as a result. This profile is different from sculpted, when you first put your fingers on the keyboard you wont notice it but once you start typing it becomes apparent. They are NOT chiclet like, but I can understand the comparisons. There is a subtle dip for your finger to rest. Muscle memory is the biggest problem, since you now have to use even pressure on every key. I type light, so at first I missed a key every so often. It also just feels weird once your typing speed starts ramping up again. I assume that will dissipate with time.
These are pretty good. They are really thick, I enjoy the aesthetic. The profile itself is unique, and probably not my favorite but they are still pretty nice and comfortable to type on. Texture on them is really nice, definetly have a pbt feel to them, but they are not gritty like a lot of cheaper sets.
Love the feel and tactility of the keycaps. Made a perfect fit for my drop carina, without breaking the bank.
Nice looking keyset with nice Japanese character accents. Concave/rounded shape that are very comfortable for typing
This is such a great set of keycaps. I love them more every day ~
