This was my first experience with a Keychron product. They've been quite impressive lately; just always missing a few things like layout compatibility etc...so I have never purchased one for myself. Now, my wife needed a good board for work and I have been looking at full size boards all the way back to the Odin v1; which was much too expensive for the "average" user to feel comfortable spending on what's essentially a "work only" keyboard. She doesn't care that it doesn't support my beloved 7u spacebar, no split right shift nor split backspace. That's the beauty and niche of these Keychron products. For the price, you cannot and will not find a more well made and perfectly designed full size keyboard. These "Q" series boards are an INCREDIBLE value. You're getting a well built board; absolutely beautiful when built and has some great weight to it. The anodizing was flawless, much better than nearly half the $300+ boards I own. The included foams and plate (you can buy different plates right here on Divinkey) are meh for someone like me, but she absolutely adores everything about the board. The included stabilizers are completely useable, a bit louder than the standard Durock v2s; but I wouldn't deem it worthy to buy a new set just to throw these away. Since I built it for her, she's ACTUALLY getting into the hobby a bit; something I've tried to get her into for over two years now at this point. I could go on forever about his board. The price is incredible, the design is solid, the pcb is solid and the materials used are solid. To me, this board is an absolute no brainer and dare I say a PREMIUM entry into the hobby. My only issue with the board is the lack of layout compatibility; otherwise I'd use one for work, too. This is also completely understandable given the price point of the board and all the incredible things it has to offer. Maybe in the future, they'll offer solder/multilayout PCB; which would make this board an instant daily for work. Now please, don't let her find out about GMK because that; we cannot afford.
United StatesFantastic mechanical keyboard to start from
This is a very weighty base, with pretty nice stabilizers preinstalled, and has pretty simple to use software support with VIA, I haven't tried QMK yet. I put in all my switches, added keycaps, and was ready to start being productive after a few minutes of configuration to assign actions to the extra 4 keys you get over 104 layouts and reassign a few other things to suit my needs. It sounds and feels incredible. Super happy with it!

After I built this up, this is now one of my favorite keyboards. I love the sound and feel I get from my thick PBT keycaps and Cherry hyperglide browns. I have similar keycaps and switches on a few of my other boards, and none of them sound or feel this nice. Being able to set up the keys with VIA was also very helpful. Now I can make the layout more useful for me.

Something not right about this q6 board. Every case screw was bent and literally needed to be wrench torqued open and replaced before reassembly. There was a random piece of unadvertised dampening material inside… If the main parts weren’t quality and if I hadn’t purchased other q6s to cross reference I would have thought this was a knockoff. I’ve built 4x Q6s before this and each one was pretty typical barebones build. This is my first time buying a board from DivineKey, I usually stick to switches and stabs… will probably go back to that model

Gasket mount makes this board sound amazing, was easy to assemble as well.
