I was skeptical. I bought these because budget and prelubed. Didnt believe the hype about how these lubed switches fee better than normal. So I did it. The stark difference was immediate. And it gave a striking contrast to my unlubed stabs. Which I ended up lubing because it bothered me so much.
There is nothing to not like about these switches. Affordable price, good factory lube, smooth switch, rgb compatible. Highly recommend trying these out.
I was going to go with ink blacks v2 but decided to save some money so my wife wouldn’t get mad at me. Anyway I’m building my first custom on a Tokyo 60 I watched a bunch of YouTube and filmed and lubed these even though it may not have needed more lube but I wanted the full experience. I have a board w cheery reds and one of the boards with the ec daisy switches and these blow those away beyond belief. After all the hype the ink blacks are very nice but I prefer these personal opinion.
I've tried roughly 8 different switches at this point and these are the first I've been able to just put in a board and go. No lubing or anything. Easily one of the best switches I've bought.
I've been through a few different switches on my gaming keyboard now and finally found what I was looking for. The closest product I can compare to were the 55g Everglide Aqua Kings and these are better in every way. The lube is consistent right out of the box on every switch I put into my Idobao ID80 (the aqua kings had annoyingly inconsistent lube that never evened out after three months of daily use). They also sound good and for a linear the stem wobble is very minimal - borderline impressive. These are nice and snappy like my Kailh Box Silent Pinks that I brush lubed myself except the slightly heavier spring on these prevent the keys from having a slapping sensation when my fingers hit the keycap that made the switch feel really cheap. Ironically these are the cheapest switches I've bought and my new favorite linear (will continue to use Kailh Box Silent Brown on my work keyboard - for another point of reference I prefer those over the Boba U4 Silent Tactile which were too abrupt for me).
