Great, but not what I was expecting.
I've been around the hobby since the golden age and for some reason an UHMWPE switch has just been my unicorn. Having tried any and all switches with UHMWPE stems, partial UHMWPE stems/housings etc...I'd like to think my opinion is valuable on a product such as this. The UHMknown are a close 2nd to 415keys UHMWPE stems in Cherry housings. They're cheaper than the former, they sound "louder" and more clacky than most UHMWPE switches out there. (Using in a Sangeo60 to really capitalize on their sound profile.) They feel about the same as the fully custom switch actually. The collisions are very balanced and give you that nice, solid, full travel bottom out most are accustomed to. The stock springs ****, just like most Gateron switches; the lube is also meh. I swapped to 65g Geon 22mm springs and lubed with 205g0 for the optimal experience. Price: 7/10 - The price is a bit of a sticking point for me. They are great for what you're getting IF you are chasing that perfect UHMWPE switch and you've read the reviews; you know what you're getting. Sound: 7/10 - Fairly average, this was the aspect of the switch that disappointed me most. (They still sound great, just not as deep as I was hoping for.) Feel: 9/10 - Very smooth when lubed, I don't get any mush or sticky feeling like I've seen mentioned before. Performance/Quality: 10/10 - Across my batch, all but one switch sounded very consistent after lubing/ss. (Very impressed with this; most Gateron switches I own have more inconsistent quality. A uniform typing experience is not to be overlooked.) Overall, this is a wonderful switch and a welcome addition to my collection. I see myself using these in my Sangeo for awhile. They tick most of the boxes for me; and if there were a second revision that made a few upgrades, I would instantly buy them. You can't go wrong with these, IMO. Just know what you're getting into, because it's not the "typical" UHMWPE experience.

Disappointing
Was expecting more from the switch, maybe just my batch but lots of steam wobble and spring ping still needed to open, clean and re-lube very inconsistent lubing throughout my batch love the theme of the switch but very expensive for what you get

A fantastic linear switch
The UHMknowns have really impressed me. The new UHMWPE stem is very nice, I have used other switches with the same stem material and they were all very smooth, the same is true here. There is a small bit of scratch sound but it's not too noticeable, and overall these switches sound great. Not clacky, not thocky, right in the middle. The springs are very nice, good weight and no crunch. Having a 4.0mm bottom-out is very refreshing after using long pole switches.
Very good linear switches.
Good service, fast delivery and switches sound amazing.

Deeper sound than the Oil Kings
Just to be clear, I LOVE these switches BUT they are a bit scratchy out of the box. However, if you care to take the time to lube them, they are considerably lets scratchy but overall smooth either way (stock or lubed.) In the end I will be highly recommending these to whomever might be interested.
