KBDfans Mechanical Keyboard Spacebar Foam

$4.95 $6.95

KBDfans Spacebar Foam is cut to fit most PCB mount stabilizers in various keycap profiles. By applying the foam to the spacebar keycap, it will significantly reduce sound upon keypresses. For plate mount stabilizers, additional tuning may be required.

6mm too thick for MT3 Camillo

They seem to be high quality and the cut works but I would say to be careful when ordering the 6mm for MT3. If your spacebar has a grid pattern inside you may need to move down to the 3.5mm

Didn't really work, made the spacebar feel mushy and slow

Works as expected!

Nothing too fancy, just foam cut to fit your spacebar. Super easy install. Has adhesive on one side if you really want to make it stick, but I just placed mine in without sticking it on and it helped me get that deeper spacebar sound I was looking for!

Didn’t Help Much with GMK/ePBT

The foam is cut precisely and fits well but, at the 3.5mm size, it doesn’t help much with sound. I’d honestly just buy something denser like sorbothane and cut it yourself. You’ll likely get better results from that.

Love the hefty feeling it gives!!!

Grabbed the NP profile aka XDA profile which basically there is no difference in row heights. And these space bar foams really gave the spacebar a pronounce and premium heft feeling when typing. Sure the sound of the loud clack/thock might no longer be there, but with the mods of preference like in my case which is a stab pads, durock V2s lubed in 205g0 (both housings & wire). It gave such a satisfying deep/low thock sound and feeling.
