TOFU65 3.0

As the third iteration in the series, the Tofu65 3.0 balances familiarity with considered refinement. It retains the minimalist exterior of the Tofu65 2.0, while its internal structure has been thoughtfully reworked to support a more modern build experience.

Mounting Options

PCB Gasket Mount

Designed for maximum softness and flex, the PCB gasket mount delivers a bouncy typing feel and supports a plateless build when paired with the solder PCB for deeper acoustics.

Top Mount

The optimized top mount places mounting points away from the spacebar and uses silicone dampeners and force break pads to reduce resonance, resulting in a more even, controlled sound with straightforward installation.

Updated Visual Language

The Tofu65 3.0 is crafted in sandblasted anodized aluminum or a rich matte E-coated finish, with an exposed rear accent that divides the USB port face and enables bold two-tone color combinations while highlighting the case’s clean, sculpted lines.

PCB

The Tofu65 3.0 is offered with a wired PCB in solder or hot-swap configurations supporting AVA, VIAL, and VIA, including a plateless build option on the solder version, or a dual-mode hot-swap PCB powered by ZMK that adds wireless capability with ultra-low power consumption and up to six months of battery life, both built on 1.6 mm FR4 with a magnetic connector design.

With this updated version, KBDfans has opted to update the design with an exposed rear accent as well as allow for more mounting options with plateless compatibility. Now coming with more customizability from the case colors, additional weight options, PCB variety, and optional wrist rests.
