Bought one of these wires to replace another wire that had a noticeable bend to it on one end. Basically came straight out of the box and solved my bent wire problem. Yes, you can try to straighten out the bent wire, but for about a dollar to dollar fifty each, save yourself the headache of trying to bend a wire back into shape and buy some spares.
