review bow doubleshot pbt
keycaps themselves are pretty nice. however there is print bleed on pretty much every keycap.
Great overall value
This generic BoW keycap set is very nice for the price. I have been using these keycaps for over a month and am impressed with the overall quality, sound, and feel. Cherry profile is one of the most common profiles and is comfortable and widely compatible, although north-facing PCB's will encounter clearance issues with certain switches. There are plenty of keycaps included in this set for many different sizes and layouts. I find the legends to be mostly clean and the black contrasts very well against the crisp white keycap, however the clarity of some of the words (Shift, Enter, Backspace, etc.) is a little sub-par compared to the alphas (letters and numbers). The legends can catch some glare if in a bright environment. These keycaps don't really thock or clack, their sound is more akin to a pop which falls between thock and clack (however, the sound depends on many different factors). If you're on the market for an affordable keycap set then this is a great choice. Photo: I have this keycap set installed on my Drop CTRL using Akko CS Silver linear switches.
Decent keycaps, but I was really hoping for better quality. The plastic is rougher than I like, I was hoping for a smoother cap like my high quality PBT keycaps, but that is subjective. The part that is particularly disappointing is the quality of the legends. They are far sloppier than every other keycap set I own. Thickness of the characters in a word can very greatly from one letter to the next, and the shape of the letters feels unstable. The letter keys are much better. Those look bold and stable. But anything with smaller characters doesn't fair well. On the plus side they're reasonably thick and have good sound and the bottom edges are clean. But it's just really unfortunate that they've ended up being a bit of an eye sore when I was really hoping for an ultra clean look. (I also purchased the WoB set and will be posting the same review for those)
Pretty nice some inconsistencies like the o on my home key and on the legion placing but i like them and they're pretty durable and sound pretty good
Quality was fine. I have a $25 set with better thickness and more consistent legends.
