Geon Skeleton Stabilizer Shims are utilized in thinner PCB's (1.2mm thickness) in order to properly fit a standard stabilizer onto the PCB. Standard stabilizers are usually rated for 1.6mm PCB which will leave a gap and potential unwanted noise if a shim is not used.
