Fantastic work keyboard
Bought this to build a silent work keyboard and can say that I'm thrilled with it. Keychron delivers with a fairly reasonably priced barebones kit in a profile that delivers everything you'd need in an office board without any major sacrifices. Solid build quality, QMK/VIA compatibility, and excellent compatibility with both PC and Mac. Force break mod and Polyfil in the bottom case helped take that little bit of pinginess away. If I had any gripe, I'd say I wish that the numpad had a 2U zero key, but I think it won't be too difficult to get used to the 1U with enough use. Props to Divinikey for having the best shipped prices on Keychron boards!

One of the top 1800s you can buy
Board is high quality, very well made. Came with a nice switch and cap puller, rotary knob is definitely nice, and overall a great (the best?) add to the 1800 layout ring.

Love my new Q5!
This is a high quality board. It feels wonderfully put together, the weight is truly significant, and everything feels quality. I did a tape mod, so I partially took it apart, and that went very smoothly. Installing switches was easy, and everything is working as expected. It sounds nice, though I know the mk community can be picky. This board is easy to mod, so have at it! This is my first time using a non-full-size board, and I have added some key combos for the "missing" keys and have no issues with that. I am looking forward to programming more macros to simplify some of my workflows. VIA was easy to install and is fairly easy to work with. Props to Keychron on a nice board, this is a significant upgrade in terms of customization from my K series. Divinikey got this to me in three days, and with the lowest price and free shipping! Highly recommend buying from them; they also answered a lot of my questions beforehand, truly a quality shop that cares about this hobby.

Great bang for the buck
Swapped out the steel plate for an alu plate, and this board sounds and feels great. Use this as my work board since I need the numpad. My first keychron (other than the q0 which I use at home), and pleasantly surprised with it. With silk yellows and and caps, sound is on the clackier side, but not overly sharp or aggressive. I didn’t test it completely stock, but with the minimal mods I did (force break, tuned the stabs), I can’t believe this is a sub $200 board.
