These don't live up to the tactility hype...
These are pretty tactile and beat out switches like Koalas, T1s, Browns, Clears, and others in tactility, but these are far from the most tactile out there. Drop Holy Pandas, YOK/BSUN Trash Holy Pandas, SP-Star Purples, Everglide Dark Jades, NK Blueberries are far more tactile than these. The bottom out sound is also not that amazing, it is a bit muted. The tactility is crisp though, so if you are looking for something that is tactile and pleasing to type on, these are perfect. But if you want something that is really tactile, then go with the other ones I mentioned. Oh and one more thing! I know a lot of people hype these to be super smooth out the pack too (any ZealPC switch), they are not. You will want to lube them, especially if you've gone through so many different switches like me (59 different switches and have lubed close to 3200 of them now). I already know what a scratchy switch feels like and these feel a bit scratchy out the bag.
After using linears for a long time I decided it was time to try a tactile switch and I'm so glad I got these. These switches offer an amazing typing experience and they sound great as well. 10/10.
I love them
That's all I like to say.
Fun bump; no dead switches!
I don't have much switch experience other than my entry-level Gateron brown board, a keyswitch sample set from Drop, and a box of Akko Ocean Blues I just ordered... BUT!!! These do be feeling and sounding quite nice. I'd describe them as having a great initial resistance like clicky switches without the signature sound of one. I like 'em over my sample of the Drop Holy Panda/Halo True for the Zealio's more unique feel. My personal take is to lube, no film. Lubing removed scratchiness and ping, giving the switch a deeper (more thock-like) sound. Filming ended up dampening that deepened thock for me. My switches arrived in sealed bulk bags, with no pins bent. I discovered a few switches with bent pins later (very attributable to my own user error while lubing and installing), but the pins were super easy to shape back into place and they worked perfectly after. Most importantly, shoutout to the Divinikey support team, who responded to my message within 24 hours over Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend and immediately helped me edit my order when I realized I wanted Zealios over Zilents :')
A lot of dead keys
There were about 8 dead keys in my set
